ABOUT OUR GAME
Taonga Island Adventure https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.volka.taonga is an immersive exploration and adventure game set on a colorful tropical archipelago.
What begins as a casual farming experience gradually evolves into a rich, multi-layered adventure. Players discover increasing depth through travel, story-driven quests, strategic battles, engaging mini-games, competitive events, and much more—transforming the game into a captivating midcore adventure with sophisticated mechanics.
Built on a robust client/server architecture with constant server connectivity, Taonga Island Adventure launched on Google Play in 2021. Our team is dedicated to continuously developing the game world and creating delightful experiences for our growing community of players.
We are looking for a talented, focused and driven Frontend Developer to join our team in bringing Taonga to success.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop new features within the game client using Haxe
- Collaborate with Game designers, UI developers and Backend developers
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code that meets performance requirements
- Maintain the game, fix bugs and implement improvements.
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE
- Has a genuine passion for playing and developing games
- Has 2 years of commercial work experience as a Frontend Game Developer
- Has recent hands-on experience working on successfully launched mobile games
- Knows Haxe or is able to quickly learn and adapt to it
- The application process may include a test assignment.
