This project allows you to be paid for recording scripted audio data from home, and successful candidates will be considered for future work as well.

Project Details

This is a remote task, and it takes only 2 minutess to audition. If your audition is successful, the work can be done from the comfort of your home.

Requirements

Access to a computer

Ability to read and understand instruction in English

18+ years of age

Ability to speak fluent Japanese

$336 USD ($420 including platform fee) for 3hrs of recorded audio. Payment will typically be issued 30 days after client approval of your files or within 60 days after the deadline specified in this agreement. If approval is delayed beyond 60 days due to high project volume, we may extend the payment release date and will notify you accordingly.

Job Description

This work requires you to complete scripted audio data. If selected, you will have 3 business days to record your audio. The script provided is built specifically to be around ~3 hours of audio speaking time if read at a standard speaking pace. The full script must be read, no partial scripts accepted. The final rate will not be adjusted if your recordings are longer than 3 hours. Must maintain a consistent placement and distance from the microphone. Overall sound and quality of the voice must sound consistent across all days of recording.

Audio Specifications:

- 24 bit, 48 kHz, mono

- Unprocessed, RAW .wav

- -60dB noise floor (or better)

- Naturally minimized background noise, breaths, and clicks (no plugins)

Usage:

There will be NO public broadcast or paid usage, meaning no advertisements or online media.

The recordings will be used for internal TTS research and development purposes. Non-broadcast, internal, in perpetuity. There will be NO public or paid usage, nor will your voice be used as any form of external facing TTS model.
