Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Voice Engineer based in Chennai. The Voice Engineer will be responsible for managing and maintaining voice communication systems, ensuring optimal functionality, and resolving technical issues. Day-to-day tasks include troubleshooting voice network issues, configuring and maintaining VoIP and telephony systems, analyzing system performance, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and implementing upgrades or expansions as needed.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in troubleshooting voice communication systems, identifying issues, and implementing effective solutions
- Hands-on experience with Interactive Voice Response (IVR) systems and Voice over IP (VoIP) technologies
- Knowledge of telephony systems and related infrastructure
- Understanding of networking concepts and configurations relevant to voice communications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Experience in IT automation or consulting is a plus
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA Collaboration, ITIL) are advantageous
