Position Summary :

This role owns the end‑to‑end design, lifecycle management, and operational reliability of enterprise telecom and contact center platforms, including Cisco Webex Calling, CUCM, Cisco Contact Center Enterprise, and Webex Contact Center, across hybrid and global environments. The position serves as a senior technical authority for automation, Tier 3 troubleshooting, multinational call quality issues, vendor coordination, and complex incident resolution while mentoring engineers and driving standards, resiliency, and continuous improvement.

Education Requirements and Experience:

· 7–15 years of progressive experience in network/telecom engineering with significant hands-on work in Cisco collaboration/voice (Webex Calling, CUCM, CUBE/gateways).

· Proven experience automating network/telecom operations (Python, Ansible, Terraform or equivalent).

· Strong understanding of SIP trunking and Session Border Controllers (e.g., Ribbon SBCs) and carrier services (e.g., AT&T BVoIP, IP Flex).

· Solid knowledge of IP networking and security: TCP/IP, NAT, routing (OSPF/EIGRP/BGP), auth (TACACS/RADIUS). Experience with cloud networking (Azure or GCP) and hybrid/multi-cloud integrations.

· Familiarity with Cisco SD-WAN (Viptela) or Meraki, and network management/observability (e.g., SolarWinds, NetQoS).

· Exposure to virtualization/orchestration (VMware ESX or similar).

· Clear, concise communication skills; ability to provide technical supervision and collaborate across teams. Preferred / Nice to Have

· Certifications such as Cisco CCNP Collaboration (CCIE Collaboration a plus), Webex Calling Specialist; cloud or networking certifications (Azure/GCP, SD-WAN).

· AI agent development and Machine Learning pipeline workflows.

· Knowledge of CI/CD practices for network/telecom automation (linting, testing, pipelines).

· Prior contributions to standards, templates, and reusable automation that improve operational consistency.
