Cloud Solutions Architect

What you'll do • Infrastructure Operations SPOC for projects: Accountable for analysing and designing IT infrastructure solutions for projects and business needs in accordance with VFTR standards and procedures, preparing procurement package. Create and maintain IO NFRs • Design & Implement Processes: Will be accountable to design and implement Infrastructure processes like Service Requests, Capacity Management. Will own and maintain Infrastructure Provisioning process • Manage technical terms&conditions of IO contracts: Create and maintain technical terms and conditions of IT infrastructure support, maintenance and service contracts. Manage and ensure quality of the vendor involvement to IO projects and during daily operation • Infrastructure Efficiency: Monitor capacity usage trends, seek possible bottlenecks, efficiency and saving potentials • Manage Technical Strategies: Follow and analyse new/upcoming technologies and to evaluate their impacts on business requirements. Analyses alternative technologies and solutions, and started procurement requests • Planning & Implementation capability: Planning new IT infrastructure platforms to provide "best fit environments" for applications, utilities. Provide assistance in new projects during all stages assessment, planning, designing, initiation, implementation of the IT infrastructure. Quality assurance of new and existing IT infrastructure. Lifecycle management of all IT infrastructure. Evaluation of tools and applications to manage/monitor IT infrastructure Who you are • University degree from a relevant discipline, preferably from engineering • At least 9 years IT Infrastructure experience 4+ years of experience and a deep understanding of: IT architecture and solutions (in an agile development environment, middleware tools, synchronization and archiving procedures, API's, Data Management, Web Services and Cloud Services) • Expert understanding of one or more public Cloud; GCP, AWS, Azure. Appreciation of challenges and gains of hybrid & multi-cloud architecture (Vmware, Azure Stack) • Strong understanding across cloud and infrastructure components (server, storage, network, data, and applications) to deliver end to end cloud infrastructure, architectures and design • Experienced at producing multi-tier, high-availability infrastructure architectures in an Enterprise & cloud environment adhering to DR, Business Continuity and availability best practice • Experience of leading the solution design and implementation of Cloud technologies and solutions helping to manage dependencies, risks, and requirements between stakeholders in the delivery of change. • Ability to create mid-term & long-term IT infrastructure strategies • Very strong skills in negotiation, commercial awareness and solution proposition. • Good communication and coordination skills • Demonstrated ability to successfully work across teams. • Should be a good team player and should be able perform well under stress
