🔧 Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled VMware & Linux Support Engineer with hands-on experience in virtualization and Linux environments. The candidate will be responsible for managing VMware infrastructure, Linux servers, system integrations, and providing L2/L3 support across multiple platforms.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities:

• Installation, configuration, and management of VMware ESXi, VMware infrastructure, and Virtual Machines
• Monitoring and troubleshooting VMware hosts and VM-related issues
• Administration of Linux servers (Ubuntu, RHEL) including troubleshooting and performance tuning
• Writing and maintaining shell scripts for automation and reporting
• Managing SFTP servers and user access controls
• Handling LDAP server configuration and user management
• Providing support for MBSS systems
• Managing and supporting integrations with:
• NTP, CrowdStrike, Mobinets, Mycom
• Cambium ePMP, OneFM, NIM
• SIEM/SOC, Log Server, VA Scan, Netcool
• Troubleshooting OS-level issues (Linux/Ubuntu)
• Configuring and maintaining proxy servers
• Performing server and VM health checks, monitoring, and preventive maintenance

✅ Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with VMware ESXi / VMware environment
• Strong knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu, RHEL)
• Experience in shell scripting
• Knowledge of networking basics and server integrations
• Experience in handling SFTP, LDAP, and proxy servers
• Good troubleshooting and analytical skills

⭐ Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Cambium cnMaestro NMS
• VMware certification (preferred)
• Exposure to NOC / Telecom / ISP environment is an added advantage
