Job Description: VMware & Linux Support Engineer

Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled VMware & Linux Support Engineer with hands-on experience in virtualization and Linux environments. The candidate will be responsible for managing VMware infrastructure, Linux servers, system integrations, and providing L2/L3 support across multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities:- Installation, configuration, and management of VMware ESXi, VMware infrastructure, and Virtual Machines
- Monitoring and troubleshooting VMware hosts and VM-related issues
- Administration of Linux servers (Ubuntu, RHEL) including troubleshooting and performance tuning
- Writing and maintaining shell scripts for automation and reporting
- Managing SFTP servers and user access controls
- Handling LDAP server configuration and user management
- Providing support for MBSS systems
- Managing and supporting integrations with:
- NTP, CrowdStrike, Mobinets, Mycom
- Cambium ePMP, OneFM, NIM
- SIEM/SOC, Log Server, VA Scan, Netcool
- Troubleshooting OS-level issues (Linux/Ubuntu)
- Configuring and maintaining proxy servers
- Performing server and VM health checks, monitoring, and preventive maintenance

Required Skills & Qualifications:- Hands-on experience with VMware ESXi / VMware environment
- Strong knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu, RHEL)
- Experience in shell scripting
- Knowledge of networking basics and server integrations
- Experience in handling SFTP, LDAP, and proxy servers
- Good troubleshooting and analytical skills

Preferred Skills:- Experience with Cambium cnMaestro NMS
- VMware certification (preferred)
- Exposure to NOC / Telecom / ISP environment is an added advantage
