Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute programs for VMC (Vertical Machining Center) machines.
- Operate and monitor VMC machines to ensure efficient production.
- Create and optimize machining programs using SOLIDCAM software.
- Select and manage appropriate rotating tools and VMC cutting tools.
- Utilize MS Office tools for reporting, documentation, and production tracking.
- Implement process improvements such as cycle time reduction and machine runtime optimization.
- Work on reducing tooling costs and improving overall machining efficiency.
- Define and optimize cutting tool parameters for maximum productivity.
- Conduct setter training and contribute to team skill development.
- Ensure quality output while maintaining safety and operational standards.
Requirements
- :Strong hands-on experience in VMC programming and operations
- .Proficiency in SOLIDCAM software is mandatory
- .Good knowledge of VMC cutting tools and machining parameters
- .Understanding of cycle time reduction and productivity improvement techniques
- .Basic proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
- .Educational qualification: ITI / Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech / Graduate in Mechanical Engineering
- .Strong problem-solving and team collaboration skills
