Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a VMC (Vertical Machining Center) Operator/Technician based in the Pune Division. The selected candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining vertical machining equipment, setting up and calibrating machines for production, programming CNC machines, and ensuring quality control during manufacturing processes. The role also includes troubleshooting machinery issues and adhering to safety and operational procedures.
Qualifications
- Technical skills in operating VMC machines, CNC programming, and calibrating production equipment
- Experience with machining processes, tooling, and material specifications
- Knowledge of quality control processes, including inspection and measurement techniques
- Strong problem-solving abilities and troubleshooting of equipment issues
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Adherence to safety and operational standards within manufacturing sites
- Technical certification or diploma in mechanical engineering or a related field is preferred
- Previous experience in machinery or manufacturing-based roles is strongly recommended
