Role Description The VLSI and Embedded Systems Mentor will provide guidance and instruction to learners in areas such as digital design, hardware description languages, microcontrollers, and embedded programming. Daily responsibilities include designing and delivering online lessons, creating project-based learning materials, reviewing assignments, and giving detailed feedback to help learners strengthen their practical skills. The role involves hosting live sessions, answering technical questions, supporting learners through forums or messages, and collaborating with the team to refine curricula and learning resources. The Mentor will also help align course content with industry standards and best practices, and may participate in content creation such as tutorials or blogs. This is a full-time remote role.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of VLSI design principles, digital electronics, and hardware description languages (e.g., Verilog, VHDL).
- Experience with embedded systems, including microcontrollers, real-time systems, and embedded C/C++ programming.
- Familiarity with industry tools and workflows, such as simulation tools, FPGA development environments, and debugging tools.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly, with prior teaching, mentoring, or training experience preferred.
- Solid problem-solving skills and ability to design practical projects and exercises that reflect real-world engineering challenges.
- Comfort working in a remote, collaborative environment with good time management and communication skills.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Awareness of current trends in semiconductor, IoT, and embedded technologies and willingness to continuously update knowledge.
