<strong>Position Overview<br></strong><br>
</div><div>We are seeking a <strong>licensed Per Diem Pharmacist</strong> to provide clinical and dispensing coverage on an as-needed basis. This opportunity is ideal for a pharmacist with infusion or specialty pharmacy experience who is looking for <strong>flexible scheduling</strong> while remaining actively engaged in direct patient care and clinical decision-making.<br><br>

<strong>Key Responsibilities<br></strong><br>
</div><ul>
<li>Verify and process infusion and specialty medication orders in compliance with California Board of Pharmacy regulations</li>
<li>Perform clinical review for therapy appropriateness, drug interactions, dosing, and patient-specific parameters</li>
<li>Collaborate with nursing staff, prescribers, and insurance/prior authorization teams</li>
<li>Compound and/or verify compounded sterile preparations (CSPs) in accordance with USP <797> and <800> standards</li>
<li>Provide patient counseling and education related to infusion therapies</li>
<li>Maintain accurate dispensing documentation and ensure regulatory compliance</li>
<li>Support ACHC accreditation standards and internal policies and procedures</li>

<strong>Qualifications<br></strong><br>
</div><ul>
<li>Active <strong>California Pharmacist license (RPh or PharmD)</strong> in good standing</li>
<li>Minimum <strong>1 year pharmacist experience</strong> required; infusion, home infusion, or specialty pharmacy experience preferred</li>
<li>Familiarity with USP <797> sterile compounding requirements</li>
<li>Strong clinical judgment and communication skills</li>
<li>Ability to work independently with minimal supervision</li>

<strong>Compensation & Schedule<br></strong><br>
</div><ul>
<li><strong>$75.00 – $80.00 per hour (DOE)</strong></li>
<li>Per diem, non-benefited contract role</li>
<li>Shifts offered on an as-needed basis, with advance scheduling when possible</li>
<li><strong>On-site position in Palmdale, CA</strong></li>
