THE CONTEXT
Our clients are B2C, FMCG, Legacy Brands and EdTech. The work we produce lives on Social media, LinkedIn, in pitch decks, ABM campaigns, client websites and on multiple other platforms trying to build trust with buyers who've seen every trick in the book.
Every frame needs a reason to exist. Every cut needs to move something, attention, understanding, or intent.
⚠️ Read this before applying: If your best work is aesthetic showreels, travel vlogs, or brand films built around vibes, we're probably not the right fit for each other. We respect that craft. It's just not what we need. We need someone who understands, conceptualises, and makes a video in their mind before actually executing it.
WHAT YOU'LL ACTUALLY DO
→ Conceptualize and edit short-form videos for LinkedIn, paid ads, case study reels, and product explainers, social media like instagram from brief to final cut, independently.
→ Script and storyboard your own ideas. If you need a writer to think for you, you're already behind.
→ Build motion assets - animated stats, text overlays, transitions
→ Use AI tools (ElevenLabs, Runway, CapCut AI, Descript, or whatever is relevant) to increase your output velocity. Not as a crutch, as leverage.
→ Understand the brief's business intent — who is watching, what they should do next, what's the one thing they need to believe after watching.
→ Maintain and push brand visual language across all video output - Hexanovate has a specific tone: sharp, grounded, data-forward.
→ Collaborate with designers and strategists to execute campaigns end-to-end. You're one node in a system, not a freelancer dropping files.
→ Handle volume. Multiple projects, multiple clients, real deadlines. If you freeze when there's more than one thing in the queue, this will not go well.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
→ Conceptualization first. Your ideas have to hold up before the edit starts. Weak concept + great execution = forgettable content.
→ Strong domain awareness. You understand the buyer and care about their problem.
→ AI-native workflow. You already use AI tools in your process. Not "I've heard of them" — you actively use them and can show us how.
→ Self-directed. You can take a one-liner brief and come back with a concept, not questions.
→ Fast and consistent. Speed without sloppiness. Quality without perfectionism paralysis.
→ Proficiency in Premiere Pro / DaVinci Resolve / CapCut or equivalent. Tool preference matters less than output quality.
IMMEDIATE RED FLAGS
✗ Portfolio with zero B2B, B2C or Legacy Brands - business context work, only aesthetic films, weddings, or consumer brand content.
✗ No evidence of conceptual thinking. Just execution with no POV on why choices were made.
✗ No AI tools in your workflow. In 2026, this is not optional.
✗ Dependency on a detailed brief before every deliverable. We don't have bandwidth for that.
✗ Can't explain what the video was supposed to achieve- only what it looks like.
90 DAYS IN, YOU'VE WON IF —
→ You're owning deliverables end-to-end with no handholding. Briefs in, final cuts out.
→ The team is using your ideas, not just executing yours.
→ Output quality has visibly gone up from before you joined.
→ You've pushed back on a brief once because you had a better idea. And you were right.
