Role Overview
We are looking for a Visual Storyteller and UX Specialist who can convert product ideas, user journeys, and business concepts into clear, engaging, and high-quality visual experiences.
This role is ideal for someone who can think like a designer, storyteller, marketer, and product person. You will work closely with the founder, product team, marketing team, and developers to create visuals, screens, flows, presentations, brand assets, and communication materials that make our product easy to understand and emotionally appealing.
You should be able to take a rough idea and turn it into a polished visual story.
Key Responsibilities1. Visual Storytelling
Create compelling visual narratives for product features, marketing campaigns, investor decks, social media, website pages, and internal presentations.
Convert complex ideas into simple, beautiful, and easy-to-understand visuals.
Design storyboards, pitch visuals, explainer graphics, product walkthroughs, and launch creatives.
Help communicate the company’s vision through strong visuals, layouts, icons, illustrations, and design systems.
2. UX Design
Design user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity screens for mobile and web products.
Understand user problems and translate them into simple, intuitive product experiences.
Work on onboarding flows, feed designs, profile pages, booking flows, review flows, dashboards, forms, and admin panels.
Improve existing screens by simplifying navigation, reducing confusion, and improving visual hierarchy.
3. Product Communication
Create visual assets that explain product features to users, colleges, parents, students, partners, and investors.
Design product explainers, feature announcement creatives, app store screenshots, sales decks, brochure layouts, and landing page sections.
Work with marketing and business teams to create campaign visuals that clearly communicate value.
4. Brand and Design Quality
Maintain consistent brand language across all touchpoints.
Create and improve brand assets such as icons, banners, templates, illustrations, presentations, and social media creatives.
Ensure designs look modern, clean, premium, and trustworthy.
Bring a strong sense of typography, spacing, color, layout, and visual balance.
5. Collaboration with Product and Tech Teams
Work closely with product managers, developers, founders, and marketers.
Clearly hand off designs to developers with proper specs, assets, and interaction notes.
Understand technical limitations and design practical, buildable solutions.
Participate in product discussions and contribute ideas to improve user experience and engagement.
Required Skills
Strong visual design and storytelling ability.
Good understanding of UX principles, mobile-first design, user flows, and interaction design.
Experience with tools like Figma, Canva, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere Pro, or similar tools.
Ability to create presentations, pitch decks, social media creatives, product screens, and marketing visuals.
Good sense of typography, color, layout, spacing, and branding.
Ability to simplify complex ideas into clean visuals.
Basic understanding of product design, SaaS apps, mobile apps, or consumer apps.
Ability to work fast, take feedback, and improve designs quickly.
Good to Have
Experience designing for mobile apps, edtech, social platforms, marketplaces, SaaS, or community products.
Basic motion design or video editing skills.
Ability to create reels, explainer videos, product walkthroughs, and animated stories.
Experience with design systems and component-based UI.
Ability to write short UX copy, headings, captions, and product messaging.
Understanding of Indian users, students, parents, colleges, or local business markets.
Ideal Candidate Profile
You are creative, detail-oriented, and product-minded.
You do not just “make designs”; you think about what the user should feel, understand, and do.
You can take a founder’s rough explanation and convert it into a clear visual story.
You care about design quality, clarity, and business impact.
You are comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment.
