Ace of Space is looking for a Visual Merchandising Manager to lead and execute VM strategies for premium and luxury retail brands. This is a full-time, individual contributor role that requires a strong balance of creative thinking and on-ground execution.
The role is primarily Mumbai-based, with travel to other cities as required for store visits and project execution.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Brand VM Implementation:
- Understand and implement brand-specific visual merchandising guidelines consistently across retail stores.
- Seasonal VM Execution:
- Collaborate with client teams to adapt and execute seasonal themes, campaigns, and in-store guidelines.
- Concept & Display Development:
- Develop innovative display concepts, styling techniques, and VM props to enhance in-store customer experience.
- In-Store Execution:
- Take ownership of on-ground VM execution, ensuring high-quality implementation across all touchpoints.
- Cross-Functional Coordination:
- Work closely with marketing, sales, and store operations teams to ensure seamless VM integration.
- Internal Process Management:
- Plan and manage feedback loops, reporting, and internal coordination to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Vendor Management & Production:
- Coordinate with vendors for material sampling, production, and execution of VM elements and window displays.
REQUIREMENTS
- 2–4 years of experience in visual merchandising, preferably within premium or luxury retail environments
- Strong sense of styling, display aesthetics, and spatial design
- Hands-on experience in in-store VM execution
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Working knowledge of CAD software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar) for planograms and layout design
- Ability to create 3D renders for VM concepts
- Strong understanding of materials, prop production, and cost-effective execution
- Proven experience in vendor management and production coordination
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across teams and stakeholders
- Ability to work independently, take ownership, and maintain high-quality standards
