Visual Communication – Photoshoot Manager

About the Role
We're looking for a hands-on E-Commerce Shoot Producer to own our fashion and apparel photoshoots from concept to final asset delivery. You'll be the single point of contact across planning, production, on-set execution, and post-production — ensuring every shoot runs on time, on brief, and on budget.
What You'll Own
Pre-Production & Planning
- Develop shoot briefs in close collaboration with the creative team.
- Build and manage detailed production schedules, call sheets, and shot lists for each shoot.
- Coordinate model casting, stylist bookings, hair & makeup, and prop sourcing.
- Scout and book studio or location spaces suited to fashion/apparel photography.
- Prepare and track shoot budgets; flag risks early and resolve before shoot day.
Vendor & Studio Management
- Source, vet, and maintain a roster of photographers, videographers, stylists, retouchers, and production crew.
- Negotiate contracts, day rates, and usage rights with external vendors.
- Manage studio relationships including bookings, equipment rentals, and set builds.
- Ensure all vendors are briefed, confirmed, and equipped ahead of shoot day.
On-Set Coordination
- Lead all on-set operations — the go-to person for the entire crew on shoot day.
- Manage shoot flow, timing, and garment/product throughput to hit daily targets.
- Oversee styling consistency, set dressing, and brand standard compliance across all frames.
- Problem-solve in real time: model no-shows, lighting issues, styling discrepancies — you handle it.
- Maintain a live shot tracker to ensure 100% of the brief is covered before wrap.
Post-Production & Asset Delivery
- Brief retouchers and editors with clear, annotated feedback; review selects and approve finals.
- Manage retouching timelines and ensure delivery against campaign and go-live deadlines.
- Organise and upload final assets to the DAM/shared drive with correct naming conventions and metadata.
- Conduct quality checks on all outgoing assets before handoff to the e-commerce or digital team.
- Maintain a shoot archive: briefs, shot lists, approved assets, and vendor contacts.
What We're Looking For
Must-Have
- 2–5 years of experience in e-commerce, commercial, or fashion photo production.
- Proven track record managing end-to-end shoot production independently.
- Strong vendor network: photographers, stylists, studios, retouchers.
- Excellent project management skills — you live by timelines and checklists.
- Sharp eye for consistency in styling, colour, and brand presentation.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with high SKU volumes.
Good to Have
- Experience with fashion/apparel brands (fast fashion, D2C, or premium segments).
- Familiarity with DAM systems (Bynder, Brandfolder, or similar).
- Working knowledge of Adobe Lightroom or capture tethering software for on-set review.
- Understanding of e-commerce image specs and platform requirements (Myntra, Nykaa Fashion, Amazon, website).
- Experience handling both studio and on-location shoots.
