What you'll do
- Illustrate the wedding identity: monograms, couple portraits, custom motifs, and signature patterns that anchor the visual world
- Create hand-drawn and digital illustrations for invitation suites, save-the-dates, wedding magazines, welcome kits, signage, menus, and seating charts
- Design illustrated guest keepsakes — pieces meant to be kept, not discarded
- Develop illustrated assets for the wedding website, Instagram identity, and digital invitations
- Contribute illustrated elements for motion — title cards, opening/closing frames, and graphic motifs that carry into films
- Translate couples' personal stories, rituals, and details into original illustrated moments — a family heirloom, a shared memory, a cultural symbol, rendered by hand
- Work directly with couples and the design lead to understand their story and illustrate it with clarity and warmth
- Bring craft and cultural sensitivity to every line: a Telugu ritual and a brushstroke deserve the same respect
What we're looking for
- A distinct illustrative style — you have a hand that's recognizably yours
- A strong eye for composition, colour, line, and detail, with the restraint to know when a piece is done
- A storyteller's instinct — you can turn a couple's history into a motif, a portrait, a monogual mark
- Range across mediums: equally comfortable illustrating a monogram, a magazine spread, or a keepsake print
- Original thinking — work that goes beyond templates, clip art, and Pinterest trends
- Full ownership of your illustrations, from rough sketch to final polished artwork
- Cultural fluency — respect for ritual and tradition, and the taste to illustrate within it
