Company: Medical Centric
Location: Remote (India-based applicants preferred)
Employment Type: Full-Time (Remote)
Experience Required: Minimum 4 years preferred
Compensation: ₹30,000 – ₹70,000 per month (based on experience & portfolio quality)
About Us:
Medical Centric creates high-retention, story-driven animated videos watched by millions. Our style is
anime-style Storytime fast, emotional, and highly “watchable.” We’re looking for a
VFX & SFX Artist who can take animation scenes and make them feel
alive through clean compositing, impactful visual effects, and satisfying sound effects plus repurpose episodes into
high-performing YouTube Shorts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Do compositing for anime-style Storytime scenes (layering, depth, camera moves, light/shadow polish, final look).
- Create visual effects: glows, particles, speed lines, impact frames, shake, motion blur, lightning, fire/smoke, magic/energy, screen FX, transitions, etc.
- Add sound effects (SFX) and special effects audio to enhance emotion, comedy, tension, and pacing (whooshes, hits, ambience, stingers).
- Create Shorts from long episodes: select best moments, punch up pacing, add captions/subtitles, add hooks, add transitions, deliver platform-ready exports.
- Maintain style consistency (VFX intensity, timing, typography/captions standards, audio loudness consistency).
- Work fast with feedback: implement revisions cleanly in tight production cycles.
- Keep projects organized: naming, versions, exports, assets, and handoff files that the team can reuse.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in VFX + compositing + short-form editing for animated content (YouTube/shorts/series).
- Strong command of tools like After Effects + Premiere Pro (or equivalents such as DaVinci Resolve/Fusion), and audio tools like Audition (or strong audio workflow).
- Solid understanding of timing, impact, rhythm, and storytelling through edits (this matters more than “fancy effects”).
- Ability to design and mix SFX cleanly (no messy, overpowering, or inconsistent audio)
- Portfolio/reel that clearly shows before/after shots, VFX breakdowns, and at least 3–5 Shorts you’ve edited.
- Reliable, deadline-driven, detail-obsessed.

Note: This is a 100% remote opportunity. No relocation or on-site presence is required.
