Job Title: Graphic Designer (Category / Event Focus)
Job Summary:
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer with a penchant for creative, branded content development as well as the ability to capture the pulse of the moment visually. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for fashion, aesthetics, typography and layout, and a deep understanding of translating cultural moments to inspirational, intuitive design. The candidate will collaborate closely with our content, marketing, and product teams to produce high-quality page designs that enhance our brand's image and drive customer engagement
Responsibilities:
Category & Event Page Design
1. Translating the thematic brief on category & event pages from the content strategy team to visually appealing page layouts. Creative interpretation of brief basis quick design research and competition analysis of national and international benchmarks on the mentioned thematic.
2. Quick adaptations of creatives across multiple channels like app, website, emailers, notifications etc. with consistency in design
3. Maintaining a repository of design templates and mocks for future use.
Cultural Storytelling -
1. Staying updated with global fashion and cultural moments and visual trend developments on the same across commercial platforms and media channels.
2. Building an intuitive visual journey to create a sense of urgency / FoMo in the minds of consumers around certain pop culture moments and helping them to engage better with the app. Building a feeling of community for subculture oriented category pages e.g. K-beauty page, sneaker page etc.
3. Working on building trend-led category / event sections on the page that stand out in their own right as well as align with the overall page’s visual language.
Collaborative Creation -
1. Presenting design concepts and revisions to stakeholders, incorporating feedback and ensuring alignment with project goals.
2. Managing multiple projects and deadlines effectively, prioritizing tasks and delivering high-quality work on time.
Asset Management -
1. Organize and maintain a digital asset library, ensuring easy access to design files, brand logos and resources.
2. Prepare design files for web and print production, ensuring optimal quality and performance.
3. Optimize images for web usage.
Qualifications-
1. B.Des / M.Des in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field from a fashion-forward institute like NIFT, Srishti, Pearl or equivalent.
2. Proven experience in graphic design, in a fashion/luxury, print or e-commerce or related industry.
3. Strong portfolio with expertise in layout design, typography, illustration, image manipulation, etc.
4. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) & Figma
5. Skilled designing/animating for paid media (Social + Motion Graphic Ads).
6. Excellent communication, collaboration and team-playing skills.
7. Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
8. Familiarity with digital asset management.
9. Understanding of UI/UX principles is a plus
