Role Description The Visual Arts Educator is a full-time, on-site role based in Rajkot. The educator will design and deliver engaging visual arts lessons, including drawing, painting, and mixed media, to learners across relevant grade levels. Daily responsibilities include planning lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum, preparing materials and resources, instructing students in art techniques, and guiding them in creative expression. The role involves assessing student work, providing constructive feedback, maintaining an inclusive and safe studio/classroom environment, and integrating art education with broader learning themes. The Visual Arts Educator will collaborate with colleagues, participate in school events and exhibitions, and contribute to ongoing curriculum refinement and co-curricular art initiatives.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development for visual arts education.
- Candidates should possess skills in Teaching and Art Education, with the ability to support diverse learning styles.
- Candidates should possess practical skills in Painting and related visual arts techniques.
- Relevant degree or diploma in Fine Arts, Art Education, or a related field.
- Prior experience as an art educator or instructor in a school or similar setting is highly beneficial.
- Strong classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to inclusive and student-centered teaching.
- Ability to design creative projects, organize art displays or exhibitions, and integrate technology where appropriate.
