About the role

We are seeking a Director, Global Talent Acquisition to lead and transform our global recruiting efforts. This role will be responsible for defining and delivering a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy across a global remit, ensuring we attract, assess, and hire top-tier talent to drive our company's growth and strategic objectives. As a proven leader, you will oversee a global team of talent acquisition professionals and be accountable for the entire talent acquisition lifecycle, including talent acquisition operations, candidate pipelining, selection strategy, HR technology road-mapping, and workforce planning. This role requires exceptional cross-functional collaboration and influence to partner effectively with senior leadership, HR Business Partners, and hiring managers worldwide. What You Will Do Talent Acquisition Strategy: Establish and drive the implementation of a multi-year talent acquisition strategy on a global level that supports the company's overarching business goals and workforce demands.. This includes identifying key talent markets, building employer branding initiatives, optimizing candidate pipelines, and shaping our select strategies Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a global team of talent acquisition professionals, fostering an entrepreneurial culture that emphasizes speed, quality, and a customer-centric approach. Empower the team to make high-judgment decisions and continuously grow their capabilities Talent Acquisition Operations: Oversee all aspects of global talent acquisition operations, ensuring processes and technology are efficient, compliant, and deliver a seamless candidate experience. Use a data-driven approach to optimize the hiring lifecycle and make strategic recommendations Candidate Selection Excellence: Implement best-in-class candidate selection methodologies, including structured interviewing, assessment tools, and inclusive practices, to ensure fair, objective, and effective hiring decisions across all levels and regions Workforce Planning & Forecasting: Collaborate closely with HR Business Partners and business leaders to understand current and future talent needs, develop proactive workforce plans, and provide insights into market trends and talent availability to support strategic decision-making Enterprise Impact & Best Practices: Serve as the enterprise thought leader for talent acquisition, championing fair and scalable hiring practices that open pathways for talent from varied backgrounds and geographies. This entails discovering and integrating effective methods, creative sourcing approaches, and new technologies to improve our global recruiting capabilities and competitive edge Stakeholder Partnership: Cultivate strong, collaborative relationships with senior leadership, hiring managers, and HR Business Partners to understand their talent needs, provide strategic guidance, and ensure alignment on recruiting priorities Data and Technology Driven Strategy: Operationalize a data-driven talent acquisition function, leveraging advanced analytics, recruiting technology, and competitive intelligence to optimize the hiring lifecycle. You might be a great candidate for this or other opportunities! 12+ years of progressive experience in talent acquisition, with at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing a global recruiting function Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing global teams of 15+ individuals, with the ability to act as a strategic thought partner to senior leadership on recruiting best practices and market trends Demonstrated expertise in all facets of talent acquisition, including talent acquisition operations, candidate selection, and workforce planning Proficiency with modern talent acquisition technology stack (ATS, CRM, etc.) with a track record of identifying and implementing innovative solutions, including those powered by Generative AI, to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across the hiring process Strong experience in a fast-paced, complex, and global organizational environment Exceptional cross-functional leadership and a proven ability to deliver results in matrixed organizations Deep understanding of global recruiting best practices, legal compliance, and cultural nuances across different regions Strong analytical acumen with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations
