Role Overview: We are looking for passionate Software Engineer Interns to help us improve and scale our web application. This is an opportunity to work on a live, production-ready platform, contributing directly to feature development, deployment, and performance optimization. You'll be working closely with the founding team and play a key role in shaping a high-impact SaaS product used by international job seekers. What You'll Do: Build, test, and deploy scalable features across the Visafriendly web platform. Improve performance, UI/UX, and platform reliability. Debug issues and optimize backend/frontend processes. Collaborate via Git/GitHub and participate in code reviews. Ensure smooth deployment and maintenance using Render and PostgreSQL. Continuously improve CI/CD pipelines and platform monitoring. (Bonus) Contribute to building ML-based tools to improve user experience and job recommendations. Tech Stack: Frontend: React.js, HTML, CSS Backend: Node.js Database: PostgreSQL Deployment: Render Version Control: Git & GitHub What We're Looking For: Students or recent grads in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields Solid understanding of React.js and Node.js Experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL Hands-on experience deploying apps or building personal/full-stack projects Familiarity with version control and collaborative development workflows Eagerness to learn, solve problems, and work independently in a remote environment Strong communication and collaboration skills Bonus Points If You Have: Experience deploying full-stack SaaS applications Interest or experience in machine learning and deploying ML-based features Projects demonstrating full-stack or backend architecture understanding Participation in coding challenges, open-source, or hackathons Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms
