Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Visa Counselor based in Jalandhar. The Visa Counselor will be responsible for guiding students through the complete visa application process, assessing individual profiles, and providing tailored advice. Responsibilities include assisting students with university selection, preparing visa documents, coordinating with embassies, and addressing any queries related to the process. The role also involves staying updated on visa regulations and maintaining clear communication with clients to ensure a smooth experience.
Qualifications
- Counseling and advisory skills focused on assessing profiles and guiding students effectively through the visa process
- Knowledge of visa regulations and application processes, with the ability to manage and prepare documents accurately
- Strong verbal and interpersonal communication abilities to address client concerns and build a positive rapport
- Organizational and time management skills to coordinate tasks, deadlines, and communications with embassies and educational institutions
- Proficiency in basic computer software and familiarity with tools used in application management
- Bachelor’s degree holders in any field; prior experience in study abroad consulting is an advantage
- Empathy, problem-solving aptitude, and cultural awareness are key for providing exceptional client support
