QA Automation Engineer

VirtueStaff is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Engineer with a strong background in automation and development for our client. This is a technical, hybrid role for an Analyst/Engineer type who will be key in developing and implementing AI automation and automated regression tests. The successful candidate must be proficient in both coding and hands-on manual testing, ideally bringing experience with our core tech stack built on AWS, Next.js, and TypeScript. Experience in the healthcare sector is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and code AI automation systems to enhance testing processes and efficiency
• Collaborate closely with the architect to design and build robust automated regression frameworks
• Create and maintain comprehensive automation scripts to ensure continuous integration and deployment quality
• Perform thorough manual testing to cover edge cases and exploratory scenarios not covered by automation
• Contribute to a codebase using TypeScript, built on SQL and Next.js, hosted on AWS

Requirements

• Proven experience in creating automation scripts for complex software systems
• Proven experience with automated regression testing
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and experience with the Next.js framework
• Working knowledge of AWS (Amazon Web Services) infrastructure
• Experience working with a SQL Database
• Ability to function effectively as an Analyst/Engineer, balancing coding with critical manual testing
• Experience in the Healthcare sector is highly desirable
