Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Virtual Reality Designer at Amrita TV, based in Thiruvananthapuram.
A Real-time Graphic Artist plays a crucial role in creating visually appealing and engaging real-time graphic modules with logical structuring, immersive virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR) and other CG news Realtime Graphics. This includes designing templates (both front-end and back-end), database management, testing, debugging, implementation, and troubleshooting. Most project modules are used for live telecast, especially for news broadcasting. The Real-time Graphic Artist should also possess good interaction skills to collaborate with multiple end-user departments for data collection and requirement analysis prior to module creation.
Qualifications
- Experience with 3D modeling and animation tools such as Blender
- Proficiency in Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) design techniques, Adobe Photoshop, After Effects, and Cinema 4D/any 3D software
- Logical scripting skills in programming languages (VB/JAVA/C#/ASP.NET/PYTHON)
- A troubleshooting mindset for rapid solution building
- Solid knowledge of Game Design principles and hands-on experience in Game Development
- Ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve creative objectives
- Strong attention to detail and a keen sense for creating compelling, immersive user experiences
- Familiarity with programming languages or platforms for VR/AR development is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Animation, Computer Science, or / MCA or equivalent is preferred
