North Brand is a multi-business umbrella operating in Windsor, Ontario — spanning North Basements (basement waterproofing & structural repair), North PMG (property management), and an active real estate investment practice. We move fast, think like owners, and use technology to punch above our weight.

We're hiring one sharp, tech-fluent virtual assistant to become the right hand of our founder — handling everything from website updates and AI-powered workflows to client calls and daily operations.

What You'll Do

• Website & digital: Update and maintain websites (WordPress, Firebase/HTML), manage content, post updates across platforms, handle basic troubleshooting

• AI & automation: Use AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Canva AI, etc.) to create content, automate tasks, draft emails, build workflows, and support marketing campaigns

• Executive support: Manage inbox, calendar, follow-ups, research tasks, prepare documents, coordinate across North Basements and North PMG operations

• Property management calls (bonus): For candidates with a CS background — handle inbound tenant/owner calls for North PMG, log interactions in CRM, escalate issues appropriately

• Social media & content: Schedule posts, assist with Reels/TikTok scripts, format ad creatives, manage content calendars for both brands

What We're Looking For

Required: • Strong written and spoken English — you will communicate with Canadian clients on behalf of the business • Genuine comfort with AI tools — not just aware of them, but actively uses them to get more done • Technical background — able to make basic website edits, work with HTML/CMS, use Google Suite, and learn new software quickly • Self-starter mentality — you figure things out, work independently, and don't wait to be micromanaged

Preferred: • Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field — unlocks the full scope of this role including client call handling • Familiarity with real estate, property management, or Canadian/US markets • Experience with Google Ads, Meta Ads, or CRM platforms (GoHighLevel, HubSpot, etc.)

Role Details

• Compensation: ₹45,000/month • Location: Remote — India • Working hours: Canadian Eastern Standard Time (EST) — approx. 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM EST, which translates to evening hours in India (7:30 PM – 4:30 AM IST). Candidates must be fully comfortable working Canadian business hours. • Time zone: EST (Windsor, Ontario, Canada) • Reports to: Founder, North Brand

⚠️ Important: This role requires working Canadian business hours from India. EST is approximately 10.5 hours behind IST. If you are not comfortable with evening/night shifts, this role is not the right fit. Candidates who already work North American hours are strongly encouraged to apply.

Hardware & Workspace Requirements

This is a professional remote role supporting a Canadian business. You must have your own equipment and a proper home office setup before applying. We do not provide equipment.

Equipment:

• Laptop or desktop — minimum 8GB RAM, Intel Core i3 / AMD Ryzen 5 or higher, SSD storage preferred
• Dual monitor setup — a second external screen is mandatory, not optional. Multitasking across tools, websites, and communication platforms is a core part of this job
• Noise-cancelling headset or headphones with microphone — for client calls and video meetings
• Webcam — for team check-ins (built-in is acceptable if HD quality)
• Stable, high-speed internet — minimum 25 Mbps, wired connection preferred for calls

Home Office Setup:

• Dedicated workspace — a proper desk in a quiet, private area of your home. You cannot work from a shared or noisy environment when handling client calls
• Clean, professional video background — visible during meetings and check-ins
• Consistent power supply — UPS or backup power recommended given potential outages
• Organized desk environment — you represent a professional brand; your setup should reflect that
