About You
Come join our team of summer STEM Interns! VT-ARC is seeking highly motivated undergraduate students to serve as summer STEM Interns to support STEM camp facilitation with 4th through 12th-grade students. Core responsibilities include co-teaching STEM curricula, behavior management, project coordination, and calendar management support.
Duration of internship: July 7th, 2025 – August 1st, 2025
Duties/Responsibilities
- Co-teach summer STEM camps.
- Track basic statistics of STEM events and customer service surveys.
- Assist with creating and coordinating meeting materials.
- Positively represent the company to clients by providing empathetic and friendly customer service.
Required Education, Certification, Skills, Capabilities
- Undergraduate student pursuing a degree.
- Some experience with virtual teleconferencing platforms (Zoom, WebEx, Microsoft Teams).
- Dependability, flexibility, and the ability to respond rapidly and effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Preferred Education, Certifications, Skills, And Capabilities
- Pursuing a degree in Education or a STEM-related field.
- Previous experience supporting students.
Primary Work Location: Work is to be performed onsite in Chantilly, VA.
Salary: $22-$26/hr.
