The Role:

We are looking for an IT Manager to join our senior leadership team and lead the IT department. The ideal candidate will have excellent technical and communication skills, with the ability to develop strategic roadmaps for the company, collaborate with the Engineering team on product-related IT infrastructure and security needs, and proactively manage IT suppliers.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Serving as the strategic and operational lead for IT, overseeing the management and execution of the organisation's IT strategy, primarily through outsourced IT service providers.
• Developing IT initiatives with business objectives, driving continuous improvement in IT service delivery and managing manufacturing and vendor relationships.
• Acting as the primary point of contact for all IT-related matters, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration between the organisation and external IT service providers.
• Engaging closely with the senior leadership team and engineering team, developing IT hardware and software strategies that support day-to-day and future operations, and contribute to Viper product development.

What We Are Looking For:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT management, with a proven track record of success.
• Strong understanding of IT strategy, planning, and operations.
• Extensive experience in vendor management and contract negotiation.
• Excellent knowledge of IT service management (ITSM) frameworks, such as ITIL.
• Strong understanding of IT security and risk management principles.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience creating and maintaining IT budgets.

Desirable, but not essential:

• Experience in managing outsourced IT services is highly desirable.
• Desired qualifications in ITIL Certification, Project Management Professional (PMP) and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
