Job Duties:
We are seeking a multifaceted and professional
Product Engineer (PE) who enjoys multitasking in a fast‑paced, technical, and collaborative environment. In this role, you will focus on the scalability and deployment of the
Verification IP product line. You will work closely with product development teams, marketing managers, application engineers, and customers. Some domestic and international travel may be required as appropriate.
Define Product Features and Methodologies:
As a PE, you will define protocol feature prioritization for Verification IP products to address current and emerging protocol standards. You will work closely with product development and marketing teams to align customer challenges with Siemens’ current and emerging technical solutions. You will also guide customers in crafting UVM-based verification testbench methodologies and drive Verification IP rollout for new protocols.
Support Marketing Activities:
The PE will work closely with marketing teams to support market research, product positioning, and development of presentation materials. You will present and demonstrate
Questa Verification IP products at conferences, seminars, and industry events.
Work with Customers:
You will work with multiple customers to understand their design IP verification challenges and maintain strong customer relationships. Customer-facing activities include product demonstrations, training, evaluations, and competitive benchmarking. The PE plays an active role in developing solutions to customer verification problems based on insights into customer environments.
Ideally, you will be a top-tier Verification Engineer with strong knowledge of protocol standards and verification methodologies such as
UVM.
Additional Responsibilities Include:
- We are looking for someone who can optimally manage technical relationships with Siemens’ existing customers and build strong, peer-level technical relationships with customers and product engineering teams.
- Delivering technical presentations, demonstrations, and training to users, managers, and decision-makers
- Influencing product direction by capturing customer requirements and defining use models for product development and marketing teams
- Participating in new feature specification, development, and validation to ensure products meet customer requirement.
Job Qualifications
- We are looking for candidates with 1–3 years of ASIC and/or FPGA design experience, including RTL design, functional verification, and debug
- Programming experience using Verilog, SystemVerilog, and UVM
- Understanding of EDA tools, such as simulation using Questa, Synopsys VCS, Cadence NC, etc.
- Knowledge of protocol standards such as PCIe, DDR, Ethernet, MIL‑STD‑1553, and AMBA
- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Exposure to sales and applications environment is a plus
- Occasional travel is required
- Education: B.S.E.E. or equivalent; M.S.E.E. or equivalent preferred.
