The Maintenance Mechanic B is responsible for supporting the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment to ensure optimal operational performance. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, as well as a commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
- Perform basic electrical wiring repairs using voltage meters and technical schematics
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical and hydraulic issues using appropriate tools and equipment
- Conduct preventative maintenance in accordance with established procedures and guidelines
- Repair equipment by removing, replacing, or restoring defective components
- Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels, anticipating needs, and ensuring timely ordering of parts and supplies
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area
- Adhere to and promote a safe working environment at all times
