Role Description The Vigilance Officer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Surat . The Vigilance Officer will monitor and review daily operations to identify potential risks, irregularities, and policy violations across manufacturing, inventory, and distribution processes. Responsibilities include conducting inspections and audits, tracking movement of gold and finished jewellery, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements. The role involves investigating reported incidents, documenting findings, recommending preventive and corrective actions, and following up on implementation. The Vigilance Officer will collaborate closely with security, finance, production, and management teams to maintain high standards of transparency, integrity, and loss prevention, while preparing regular reports and maintaining accurate, confidential records.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong analytical, observation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to detect discrepancies and assess risk.
- Candidates should possess skills in audit, compliance monitoring, and documentation, including maintaining detailed records and preparing clear reports.
- Candidates should possess interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills to coordinate with internal teams and external partners professionally.
- Candidates should possess basic knowledge of relevant legal, regulatory, or industry standards related to security, vigilance, and asset protection.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in using office software and digital tools for data entry, reporting, and tracking operational activities.
- Relevant experience in vigilance, security, internal audit, or risk management, preferably in manufacturing, jewellery, or related sectors, is beneficial.
- A graduate degree in commerce, business, law, criminology, or a related field is preferred; professional certifications in audit, compliance, or security are an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Jaipur, maintain strict confidentiality, uphold ethical standards, and adapt to a fast-paced, detail-driven environment.
