Data Warehouse Engineer

Your responsibilities:

• Manage projects and collaborate with team members and departments to design, develop implement and train users on data warehouse solutions within service-oriented architectures
• Develop models that provide solutions for complex corporate reporting problems
• Design, build, install, test and maintain data management systems
• Ensure data solutions meet business requirements and service-level agreements
• Analyze and identify areas for improvement and develop proposals to address them
• Proactively communicate and coordinate with team leads and colleagues to solve problems as they arise
• Continuously analyze and improve departmental business processes

What we expect:

• Strong SQL skills for data manipulation, extraction, and analysis
• Proficient in data modeling for the Power BI Service
• Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud environment
• Experience with Databricks for data processing and analytics
• Experience with dbt (data build tool) for data transformations
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, including data vault and star schema
• Experience with data integration tools
• Experience in developing database projects in the cloud context
• Ability to learn and work with special standard tools based on metadata framework technology - data warehouse automation
• Motivated and goal-oriented team player with strong analytical skills and a creative, flexible and adaptable approach to work
• Excellent written and spoken English skills
• German language skills are a plus
