Position: Videographer & Video Editor – Real Estate / Matterport Technician
Experience: 1–3 years in photography, 360° photography, Matterport, real estate photography, or video production.
Proho is looking for a technically proficient and creative videographer & video editor with hands-on experience in Matterport scanning, 3D property photography, videography, video editing, and basic graphic designing.
The incumbent will be responsible for managing on-site property shoots, 3D scans, 360° photography, professional property photography, video recording, and post-production activities. The role will also involve creating and managing Matterport digital twins and preparing high-quality visual and digital assets for property listings.
The candidate will be expected to ensure that all photographs, videos, 3D scans, and related digital assets meet Proho’s defined quality standards, visual guidelines, and operational requirements, while maintaining accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery across all assignments.
Key Responsibilities
1. Property Visit & Shoot Preparation:
• Conduct site visits to residential properties and societies for Matterport and 360° shoots.
• Coordinate with property owners, channel partners, society representatives, and internal operations teams.
• Inspect properties prior to shoots and ensure rooms and areas are adequately prepared.
• Assess lighting, cleanliness, furniture placement, accessibility, and other site conditions.
• Plan the scanning route to ensure complete and systematic property coverage.
2. Matterport & 360° Scanning
• Operate Matterport-compatible cameras and professional 360° cameras.
• Conduct complete 3D scans, 360° captures, photographs, and virtual walkthroughs.
• Maintain appropriate camera positioning, height, overlap, and scanning sequence.
• Ensure complete coverage of all relevant areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living areas, balconies, entrances, and common areas.
• Identify and rectify missing areas, duplicate scans, stitching issues, and other technical inconsistencies.
• Handle all photography and scanning equipment responsibly.
3. Property Photography
• Capture high-quality photographs suitable for residential real estate listings.
• Ensure appropriate framing, exposure, focus, composition, and image quality.
• Manage different lighting conditions, including natural light, low-light environments, and mixed lighting.
• Ensure the final photographs present the property accurately and professionally.
4. Matterport Processing & Digital Asset Management
• Upload and process scans through Matterport.
• Create and manage Matterport digital twins.
• Edit/remove unwanted scans where required.
• Set correct matter tags, labels, measurements, rooms, and entry points.
• Select appropriate starting locations and walkthrough paths.
• Perform basic photo/video editing and enhancement.
• Crop, straighten, and improve images where required.
• Prepare final assets according to Proho's website/app requirements.
5. Quality Control (QC)
• Review every completed scan before submission.
• Check: 100% property coverage
• Image quality
• 360° stitching
• Room names
• Measurements
• Mattertags
• Starting point
• Walkthrough/navigation
• Duplicate/missing scans
• Privacy-sensitive information
• Re-shoot the property if the output does not meet quality standards.
6. Data Management
• Maintain property-wise shoot records.
• Upload final Matterport links and photographs to the designated system.
• Maintain proper naming conventions for properties/files.
• Track shoot status: Scheduled → In Progress → Processing → QC → Completed.
• Maintain records of re-shoots and technical issues.
7. Coordination & Reporting
• Coordinate with the Operations/Data Collection Manager.
• Report daily shoot completion.
• Share issues related to property access, lighting, cleanliness, or equipment.
• Maintain daily productivity and QC metrics.
• Meet defined turnaround time (TAT) for each property.
