Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Videographer cum Editor role based at Ledgergate CMA Academy’s Calicut location. The role involves planning, shooting, and editing high-quality video content for classes, promotional materials, social media, and other academic or marketing purposes. The Videographer cum Editor will set up and operate cameras, lighting, and audio equipment to capture classroom sessions, interviews, and explainer content. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with faculty and the marketing team, organizing footage, adding graphics and basic motion elements, and ensuring videos follow brand guidelines and quality standards. The role also includes maintaining equipment, backing up media files, and contributing creative ideas to enhance the visual identity of the academy.
Qualifications
Strong skills in end-to-end video production, including planning, shooting, and post-production editing.
Proficiency in camera operation and handling different camera types and accessories.
Ability to manage lighting setups for indoor classroom shoots, interviews, and studio-style recordings.
Hands-on experience in shooting video in educational or corporate environments, ensuring clear visuals and audio.
Competence with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar) and basic color correction.
Understanding of audio recording and editing for clear lecture and voice-over content.
Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Portfolio demonstrating previous videography and editing work; experience in academic or training content is an advantage.
