Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Videographer and Video Editor role based in Bhubaneswar. The role involves planning, shooting, and editing video content for educational programs, marketing campaigns, corporate communications, and social media channels. Day-to-day tasks include operating cameras and related equipment, setting up lighting and audio, capturing high-quality footage, and editing videos with appropriate transitions, effects, and sound design. The Videographer and Video Editor will collaborate with trainers, marketing teams, and project stakeholders to understand creative briefs, develop storyboards, and ensure that visual content aligns with brand guidelines and learning objectives. The role also includes organizing media assets, maintaining equipment, and staying updated on video trends and best practices to continuously improve production quality.
Qualifications
- Strong video production skills, including planning shoots, managing production workflows, and delivering polished final videos.
- Proficiency in camera operation, with hands-on experience using professional or prosumer cameras and related accessories.
- Experience in shooting video across different formats (interviews, tutorials, promotional content, events) with attention to framing and composition.
- Knowledge of lighting techniques for indoor and outdoor environments to achieve consistent, high-quality visuals.
- Skilled in video editing using tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar software.
- Basic understanding of audio recording and post-production, including use of microphones and sound cleanup.
- Creative storytelling ability, with a strong sense of pacing, visual narrative, and audience engagement.
- Ability to work on-site in Bhubaneswar, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Relevant diploma or degree in film, media, communication, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Portfolio or showreel demonstrating previous videography and video editing work; experience in EdTech or corporate content is a plus.
