Role 2: : Visual and Motion Designer (TVC)

About the Role
We are looking for a creative and versatile Graphic Designer to support content development needs. The ideal candidate is a visual storyteller with strong expertise in illustration and animation, combined with a deep understanding of branding and marketing design.
You will play a key role in developing high-impact visual content across multiple digital platforms while maintaining strong brand consistency. This is a temporary 12-month position to support peak workload.
This role will primarily support the PST time zone; flexibility to work with PST hour overlap is required.
Responsibilities
- Maintain brand consistency across all visual materials and media through strong design craft and thoughtful execution.
- Follow creative direction from design leads and stakeholders to develop and maintain visual styles aligned with brand guidelines.
- Own end-to-end design delivery, from concept to execution, across multiple formats including:
- Illustrations
- Videos (motion graphics, editing, audio, voice-over)
- Digital assets
- Training materials
- Campaign visuals
- Event collateral (stage visuals, swag, signage)
- Create high-quality illustrations and compelling animations to enhance storytelling.
- Apply analytical and strategic design thinking to solve creative challenges.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to iterate on concepts and deliver effective visual solutions.
- Clearly communicate design concepts and rationale.
- Participate in design reviews and contribute to team-wide design initiatives.
- Adapt designs based on feedback and evolving requirements.
- Improve team efficiency by introducing workflows, checklists, and tools (including AIGC) that enhance speed and quality.
Top Daily Responsibilities
- Lead visual design for learning experiences, including:
- Custom illustrations for e-learning modules
- Storyboards and animations for instructional videos
- Partner with content creators and project leads to translate technical requirements into user-centered visual solutions.
- Act as a steward of visual brand identity, ensuring consistency while evolving design systems as needed.
- Support go-to-market initiatives with:
- YouTube content
- Social media assets
- Internal communications materials
Requirements
- BA/BS degree in Design (Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Product Design, Industrial Design, or related fields)
- 3+ years of relevant experience
- Experience working across both print and digital formats
- Proficiency in working with diverse stakeholders (technical and non-technical)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and design-thinking skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Software & Tools
- Adobe Creative Suite:
- Illustrator
- Photoshop
- InDesign
- Acrobat
- After Effects
- Premiere Pro
- Google Workspace (Docs, Slides, Sheets, Gmail, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of Figma
Nice to Have
- MA/MS in Design or 5+ years of relevant experience
- Strong leadership capabilities
- Understanding of product design, design thinking, and human-centered design methodologies
- Experience designing for accessibility
- Familiarity with modern design trends (e.g., Material Design systems)
- Exposure to UX design or front-end development processes
- Experience collaborating with researchers, content strategists, product managers, and engineers
