Responsibilities:
- Operate camera equipment, set up lighting, and manage audio capture for video shoots.
- Support studio and field-based video shoots, helping with set design, camera angles, and framing.
- Edit raw footage into polished final cuts using editing tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Add motion graphics, animations, text overlays, and transitions to enhance video appeal and clarity.
- AI video generation: Use tools such as Google Gemini (Veo/Flow), Runway Gen-2, Pika Labs, or HeyGen to create engaging videos for our social media and corporate channels.
- Design reel covers and thumbnails to maintain a strong visual identity.
You are NOT right for this role if:
- Your idea of a good reel is a slideshow with a trending sound
- You need 1 day to edit a 30 second video
- You think "good enough" is a final draft
You ARE right for this role if:
- You've re-edited something just because YOU weren't happy with it even after everyone approved it
- You have opinions about fonts
- You've ever missed a meal because you were mid-edit
Requirements
- This is a 2–3 month internship opportunity.
- Proficiency with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Canva or DaVinci Resolve.
- Basic knowledge of motion graphics and 2D animation, with the ability to animate illustrations and add simple motion elements such as transitions, text animation, and graphic movements. Familiarity with tools like Adobe After Effects or similar motion design software to create engaging visual content is preferred.
- Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, or other graphic design tools is a plus.
- Strong storytelling abilities, attention to detail, and a keen creative eye.
- Ability to manage time efficiently and work under tight deadlines.
- Having an active Instagram or LinkedIn profile with a good number of followers is a plus, though it is not mandatory.

Selection Criteria
1. Editing Skills
We will evaluate the quality of your editing, including the use of background music, sound effects, dialogue delivery, animations, and motion graphics.
2. Camera and Shooting Skills
We will evaluate how well you handle the camera, including your understanding of video angles, lighting, and framing. We will also look at how creatively you capture multiple angles and shots within the same space.
3. Storytelling Ability
Your concept and storytelling will be an important factor. We will assess how effectively you convey the story, especially using clear structure and minimal unnecessary cuts.
4. Animation/Motion Graphics: The submitted reels should demonstrate the use of motion graphics or animation, such as animated illustrations, text animations, transitions, or moving graphic elements.
5. Attention to Detail and Final Output
We will look closely at the overall finishing of the reel. The final product should be highly polished, accurate, and free from errors, reflecting strong attention to detail.
