Position: Lightworks - Post-Production Specialist
Type: Hourly contract
Compensation: $50 - $100/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
Role Responsibilities
- Review and evaluate AI-generated instructions related to non-linear editing workflows.
- Audit AI understanding of advanced Lightworks features including console editing and multi-cam workflows.
- Validate export and delivery formats for compatibility with professional post-production standards.
- Assess AI accuracy in representing Lightworks interface behavior and workflows.
- Test and troubleshoot AI-assisted editing scenarios including metadata and collaboration.
- Provide expert feedback on visual effects techniques and cinematic color workflows.
- Document findings and communicate insights to support continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Strong experience using Lightworks for professional video editing and post-production.
- Strong experience in video production and advanced editing techniques.
- Expertise in media management including proxy workflows and asset organization.
- Strong experience with node-based visual effects and color grading workflows.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues in post-production environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
- Background in film editing, post-production, or video production roles.
