Video Producer/Editor - Job Description
At Folklogue Studios, we develop high-quality multimedia content for projects that are of social, cultural and historical importance. Among other things, we make documentaries, animated films, light-and-sound shows and podcasts, museums and we’re committed to exploring creative and storytelling possibilities in every endeavour.
We’re looking for a video producer/editor to join our growing team at our studio in Delhi-NCR, someone with:
● A track record — and strong portfolio of — creating compelling, high-quality video content.
● Experience in the entire content development space spanning the ideation, pre-production, production and post-production space in a digital video content creation organization or agency — be it researching & conceptualizing shows, scripting, planning shoots or executing it with the camera crews, working with video editors for the final cut.
● 4-6 years of editing experience working with Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Audition or Adobe Photoshop and production equipment (e.g. camera, lighting, sounds equipment).
● Experience in having worked and managed a digital video platform or a web-series, documentary, or fiction film is desired.
● Creativity and a vision that goes beyond using common editing tools.
Your responsibilities will be as follows:
● Storyboard, allocate resources, set deadlines and provide regular support to the content team with concepts and final deliverables.
● Plan video shoots; scout, select and reserve shoot locations.
● Develop production schedules.
● Record and edit video and sound projects, including selecting program format for final output, capturing/importing media, organizing raw media, editing video footage, creating and inserting static and motion graphics, titling, media management and archiving project media.
● Manage video library.
● Proactively developing new styles and formats of video delivery to cater to different media and audience sets.
● Collaborate closely with internal clients and stakeholders to help facilitate the creation of video / multimedia content.
● Ensure discipline in workflow as well as delivery of products.
