We're hiring a Video Editor to lead video content for our clients and our own brand at Convertec. This role is video-first — the majority of your work will be editing — with graphic design as a supporting skill.
What you'll do:
- Edit Reels/Shorts, video ads, and social content for client campaigns
- Create motion graphics using After Effects
- Handle post-production: cuts, pacing, captions, basic sound design
- Edit content for our founder's personal brand (Instagram) — high volume, fast turnaround
- Support with graphic design work when needed — ad creatives, social posts, presentation decks
What we're looking for:
- 1-2 years of video editing experience (majority of your work should be video)
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro
- Working knowledge of Adobe After Effects for motion graphics
- Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop for supporting design tasks
- A strong reel showing Reels/Shorts, ad edits, or storytelling cuts
- Good sense of pacing, hooks, and retention for social-first video
- Must have own laptop capable of running the Adobe Creative Suite smoothly
Bonus points:
- Illustrator knowledge for brand/logo work
- Experience with real estate, education, or healthcare clients
- Experience editing for personal brands/influencers/content creators
