About the Role
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our marketing team. The ideal candidate should have strong editing skills, a creative mindset, and the ability to transform raw footage into engaging, high-quality videos for social media, digital marketing campaigns, and branding initiatives. Employers typically look for proficiency in industry-standard editing software, storytelling ability, and strong collaboration skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit high-quality videos for social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook, etc.)
- Create engaging Reels, Shorts, promotional videos, and corporate content
- Add transitions, motion graphics, subtitles, sound effects, and background music
- Perform color correction and basic audio enhancement
- Collaborate with the marketing and design teams to execute creative concepts
- Optimize videos for different platforms and formats
- Maintain brand consistency across all video content
- Organize project files and deliver videos within deadlines
Required Skills
- 1–3 years of professional video editing experience
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
- Knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator is a plus
- Experience creating short-form content for social media
- Understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual composition
- Familiarity with motion graphics, typography, and animation
- Basic knowledge of color grading and audio editing
- Strong attention to detail and time management
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Multimedia, Animation, Film Production, or a related field
- Strong portfolio showcasing creative video editing projects
- Experience with AI-powered editing tools is an added advantage
