Role Description: The Video Editor – Podcast & Case Studies is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. This role involves editing video content for podcasts and case studies, including cutting, assembling, and enhancing footage to create clear, engaging narratives. The Video Editor will perform colour grading, add motion graphics and titles, and ensure brand consistency across all visual assets. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with content and marketing teams, interpreting creative briefs, organising and maintaining media assets, and delivering videos optimised for multiple platforms. The role also requires meeting project timelines, incorporating feedback efficiently, and maintaining high technical and creative standards.
Qualifications
- Strong video production and video editing skills for podcasts, case studies, and other marketing content.
- Proficiency in video colour grading to ensure visual consistency and high-quality output.
- Ability to create and integrate motion graphics and basic graphics for intros, lower thirds, and key highlights.
- Experience with industry-standard editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and motion graphics software (e.g., After Effects).
- Understanding of audio editing, mixing, and synchronisation for podcast-format content.
- Strong storytelling abilities, attention to detail, and a good sense of pacing and visual composition.
- Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Relevant experience in editing podcast or interview-style content; a portfolio or showreel showcasing similar work is highly beneficial.
- A degree or certification in film, media, communication, design, or a related field is preferred but not required if skills are demonstrated.
