Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor and Photography role based in Chennai. The role involves capturing high-quality photos and videos at events, including pre-event setups, live performances, and post-event moments, ensuring visual stories that reflect the brand’s creative standards. The Video Editor will manage end-to-end post-production, including editing footage, color grading, sound synchronization, and integrating motion graphics and titles for highlight reels, promotional content, and social media assets. Daily tasks include collaborating with event planners, creative directors, and DJs to understand event concepts, planning shot lists, and maintaining organized media libraries and backups. The role also includes contributing visual ideas for campaigns, optimizing content for digital platforms, and ensuring timely delivery of polished visual assets aligned with Dreambright’s brand identity.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Video Production skills, including camera operation, shot composition, lighting awareness, and on-site event coverage.
- Candidates should possess proficient Video Editing skills, with experience in industry-standard editing software and structured post-production workflows.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Video Color Grading to maintain consistent visual tone, enhance mood, and match brand aesthetics.
- Candidates should possess Motion Graphics and Graphics skills to create titles, lower thirds, overlays, and visually engaging elements for event videos and promos.
- Experience with photography for events, including low-light shooting, portrait and candid photography, and basic photo retouching.
- Knowledge of audio editing and synchronization to ensure clear, balanced sound in final deliverables.
- Ability to work on-site during flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with creative, technical, and operations teams.
