About the Role
We are looking for a creative and skilled Video Editor who can transform raw footage into engaging, high-quality visual content. The ideal candidate should have strong editing skills, a good understanding of visual storytelling, and hands-on experience with professional video editing tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit short-form and long-form videos for social media, advertisements, branding, and digital platforms.
- Create engaging Reels, YouTube videos, promotional videos, corporate videos, and video ads.
- Work with raw footage, audio, graphics, transitions, effects, and animations to create polished final videos.
- Add motion graphics, text animations, visual effects, sound effects, subtitles, and colour corrections.
- Understand briefs and convert creative concepts into compelling video content.
- Select appropriate music, footage, transitions, and visual elements according to the brand and content requirements.
- Maintain consistency in visual style, branding, quality, and storytelling.
- Collaborate with designers, content creators, social media teams, and creative teams.
- Stay updated with the latest editing trends, AI tools, visual effects, and social media formats.
Required Skills & Tools
Candidates should have strong hands-on experience with professional video editing and creative software, including:
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- Adobe After Effects
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe Illustrator
- DaVinci Resolve — editing & colour grading
- Adobe Audition — audio editing & sound processing
- CapCut / equivalent advanced short-form editing tools
- Motion Graphics & Animation
- Colour Correction & Colour Grading
- Sound Design & Audio Mixing
- Green Screen / Chroma Key
- Visual Effects (VFX)
- Masking, Rotoscoping & Tracking
- Typography & Text Animation
- AI-powered video editing & generative tools
What We're Looking For
- 1–2 years of professional video editing experience.
- Strong understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, composition, transitions, and music synchronization.
- Good sense of design, aesthetics, typography, and current social media trends.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with a creative team.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to experiment with new creative styles.
- A strong portfolio/showreel is required.
