About FastCode AI
We're an AI-native company helping enterprises build and deploy AI at scale. Our education initiative - AI Masterclass has trained hundreds of professionals across India. We produce high volumes of original video content — explainers, talking head videos, team demos, client testimonials, and student stories — and we need someone who can make it shine on social.
About the Role
You'll take raw footage (up to 30 minutes) and cut it into 60–90 second reels that stop the scroll. This is as much a creative role as a technical one — we care deeply about taste, judgement, and ability to craft a strong hook.
Responsibilities
- Edit long-form raw footage (talking heads, live sessions, testimonials) into short-form reels for Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube Shorts
- Identify the strongest moments in raw footage and build a compelling narrative around them
- Design and animate motion graphics, text overlays, lower thirds, and captions
- Perform color grading and color correction for a polished, on-brand look
- Clean and balance audio — noise removal, EQ, level normalization
- Export and optimize for multi-format delivery (9:16 · 1:1 · 16:9)
- Manage multiple projects and meet weekly delivery deadlines
Requirements
- 2–6 years of experience in video editing and motion graphics
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects
- Demonstrable experience creating short-form social media content and reels
- Strong sense of pacing, visual storytelling, and hook construction
- Experience with color grading (DaVinci Resolve preferred)
- Audio editing skills — noise reduction, sound mixing
- Portfolio with at least 3 reels edited from long-form source footage
- Experience in marketing a B2B company (tech services or SaaS)/ Education company
