Position: Linux-Based Post-Production Specialist (Cinelerra)
Type: Hourly contract
Compensation: $40–$120/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
Role Responsibilities
- Edit and finalize high-resolution video projects using Cinelerra on Linux systems.
- Manage complex multi-track timelines and layered compositions.
- Apply advanced techniques such as motion tracking, chroma keying, and effects layering.
- Optimize media workflows, rendering pipelines, and file handling processes.
- Troubleshoot issues related to codecs, formats, and system performance.
- Collaborate with teams to align on creative output and delivery timelines.
Requirements
- Expert proficiency in Cinelerra and Linux-based post-production workflows.
- Experience handling and optimizing high-resolution media files.
- Strong knowledge of compositing, motion tracking, and color grading.
- Ability to manage complex editing timelines with precision.
- Strong problem-solving and technical troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
