We are seeking a talented Junior Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about storytelling through video, possesses strong technical editing skills, and has hands-on experience working with long-form content.
What we’re looking for:
- An editing enthusiast with 6 months to 1 year of experience and a strong portfolio
- Proven experience in editing long-form content (required)
- Proficiency in tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar editing software
- A strong understanding of storytelling and the ability to create seamless visual narratives
- High-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and Illustrator
- Good understanding of identity design, grid systems, and communication design (social media, ad creatives, mainline, editorial layouts, etc.)
- Sound knowledge of typography, colour theory, and Gestalt principles
- Interest in pre-production and on-ground shooting processes is an added advantage
What you’ll do:
- Transform raw footage into visually engaging and emotionally compelling content
- Enhance videos with transitions, sound effects, music, and other creative elements
- Collaborate with the creative team to brainstorm and execute innovative ideas
- Review, refine, and polish edits to deliver high-quality final outputs
