About Us
Whoppl is a creative, content-first company that brings together storytelling, creators, culture, and commerce to build brands that stand out.
Whoppl has entered an exciting new chapter with the launch of Nova9, a culture-first creative and storytelling unit.
We're working on exciting emerging brands, helping shape their identities and build their presence through content that feels fresh, relevant, and culturally connected.
About the Role
We're looking for a Video Editor Intern who loves storytelling, has a strong visual sense, and spends enough time on the internet to know what makes content worth watching.
You'll work closely with our creative team on founder-led content, brand storytelling, social media videos, and visual research.
This isn't just about cutting clips together. We want someone who can bring ideas to life through editing.
What You'll Do
- Video Editing: Edit Instagram Reels, founder-led videos, interviews, behind-the-scenes content, and other short-form videos.
- Founder's Content: Turn raw footage, conversations, and everyday moments into engaging, well-paced stories.
- Moodboarding & Research: Build visual moodboards, find creative references, and explore editing styles for upcoming shoots and content.
- Creative Storytelling: Experiment with transitions, sound design, pacing, typography, and visual treatments.
- Social Media Content: Work on content for brands like Mohena, Arcainist, and other upcoming projects.
- Creative Collaboration: Work with strategists, designers, and the production team to translate ideas into videos.
- Trendspotting: Stay updated with emerging formats, editing techniques, creators, and internet culture.
What We're Looking For
- Basic to good knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, or similar editing software.
- A good understanding of pacing, music, transitions, and storytelling.
- An eye for aesthetics, composition, and visual references.
- Familiarity with Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and social-first content.
- Someone curious, proactive, and comfortable experimenting with new ideas.
- Bonus if you know After Effects, motion graphics, or basic colour grading.
Freshers and students are welcome to apply. A strong portfolio and an eagerness to learn matter more than years of experience.
Why Join Us?
You'll get hands-on experience working on emerging brands, collaborate with an experienced creative team, and see how content is conceptualised, produced, and edited from start to finish.
You'll have the opportunity to contribute ideas, explore different storytelling formats, and build a portfolio of real brand work.
