Role Description The Video Editor Intern (Unpaid) will support the creation of video content for digital campaigns, websites, and social media channels. This is a full-time remote role focused on editing raw footage into polished, engaging videos aligned with brand guidelines and project objectives. Day-to-day tasks include organizing and trimming clips, adding transitions, basic motion graphics, and sound elements, as well as color adjustments to maintain visual consistency. The intern will collaborate with designers, marketers, and developers to produce videos that explain services, showcase client work, and enhance brand storytelling. Additional responsibilities may include adapting videos for different platforms, ensuring optimized formats and resolutions, and contributing creative ideas for new video concepts and content series.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production for digital and social media content.
- Ability in Video Color Grading to maintain consistent visual style and enhance overall quality.
- Experience or interest in Motion Graphics and Graphics to create simple animations, titles, and visual elements.
- Familiarity with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar).
- Basic understanding of aspect ratios, codecs, export settings, and optimization for web and social platforms.
- Attention to detail, strong time management, and ability to follow creative briefs and brand guidelines.
- Good communication skills and comfort collaborating in a remote team environment.
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed a relevant program in media, film, design, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
