About TradeX: TradeX is a high-performance, 100% free virtual F&O paper-trading platform designed exclusively for Nifty 50 and Bank Nifty. Our mission is to help Indian retail traders and beginners practice options trading in a realistic, live-market environment without burning their hard-earned capital. We are moving fast, and we need a Video Editing Ninja to fuel our content engine. Your goal isn't just to "cut and trim clips"—it's to hijack attention, maximize viewer retention, and drive app signups using aggressive hooks, viral pacing, and high-energy visual storytelling.
Role & Responsibilities:
- High-Retention Short-Form Content: Edit fast-paced, highly engaging Reels and YouTube Shorts. You will take raw scripts, screen recordings, or talking-head footage and turn them into viral-ready videos.
- Mastering the Hook: Craft the critical first 3 seconds using visual pattern interrupts, FOMO, and curiosity gaps to ensure viewers stop scrolling immediately.
- Dynamic Visuals & Sound Design: Add engaging B-rolls, punchy sound effects, dynamic zoom-ins, and modern text animations (think Alex Hormozi or Iman Gadzhi style) to keep the audience hooked till the end.
- Trend Jacking & Fast Turnaround: The stock market moves fast. When there’s a massive market crash, a breakout, or a trending Finfluencer controversy, you need to edit and ship a relevant reel on the exact same day.
- Platform Optimization: Ensure all exports are optimized for Instagram algorithms (correct aspect ratios, bitrate, and loopable endings for maximum replays).
Requirements:
- A "Jugaadu" and entrepreneurial mindset. You know how to make a low-budget video look like a high-production masterpiece.
- Strong hands-on experience with editing software like Premiere Pro, CapCut, After Effects, or DaVinci Resolve.
- A deep understanding of pacing, jump cuts, and retention graphs. You know exactly when a video gets boring and how to fix it.
- Basic understanding of the Indian stock market, meme culture, and trading terminology (so you don't accidentally put a green upward chart when we are talking about a market crash).
- A "Get It Done" attitude where watch-time, shares, and saves are your primary obsession.
