About The Handler's Effect
The Handler's Effect is a founder-led creative agency that builds content people actually stop to watch. We work with ambitious brands and founders to create high-performing short-form content, storytelling campaigns, and social-first creative.
We're looking for a Video Editor Intern who loves editing, understands internet culture, and wants to learn how great content is built—not just how videos are cut.
What You'll Do
Edit Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and social media videos.
Create engaging cuts with strong pacing, transitions, captions, and sound design.
Design basic thumbnails and supporting social creatives.
Assist with simple motion graphics and animations.
Use AI tools to speed up editing and content workflows.
Organize project files and deliver edits on time.
Collaborate with the creative team to bring ideas to life.
Requirements
Basic knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, or DaVinci Resolve.
Basic graphic design skills using Canva or Adobe Photoshop.
Understanding of social media trends and short-form content.
Interest in AI tools like ChatGPT, Runway, Gemini, Veo, or similar.
Creative mindset with attention to detail.
Good communication skills and willingness to learn.
A portfolio or sample edits (personal projects are welcome).
