Role Description The Video Editor Intern will support Ikie’s content and marketing efforts by editing and producing video content for digital platforms. This is a full-time remote role, involving tasks such as assembling raw footage, cutting and sequencing clips, adding transitions and effects, and optimizing videos for social media and other channels. The intern will collaborate with the creative and marketing teams to develop visually appealing stories that reflect Ikie’s brand values and product offerings. Daily responsibilities may include basic color grading, simple motion graphics, audio synchronization, and exporting final videos in required formats. The role may also involve organizing media assets, maintaining project files, and contributing ideas for new content concepts.
Qualifications
- Ability to work with Video Production and Video Editing tools to create polished, engaging content.
- Proficiency in Video Color Grading to maintain consistent visual style and enhance overall quality.
- Foundational skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics for titles, overlays, and simple visual elements.
- Familiarity with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar).
- Strong attention to detail, visual storytelling ability, and an understanding of social media video formats.
- Capability to work independently in a remote environment while meeting deadlines and following brand guidelines.
- Interest in lifestyle, wellness, and Japanese culture is an advantage.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or course in Film, Media, Design, Communication, or a related field is preferred.
